Dianne's Tuesday 5:30 Intro to flow class is changing to a Basics class, starting in August! Similar focus, different speed! Basics is best for beginner to intermediate and you can expect to learn yoga poses, breathing, and philosophy while practicing in a slow and mindful way. Class will include stretching, strengthening, and practicing balance.
Gretchen is joining our teaching team to bring back Flow and tone Thursday nights at 7:00pm, starting in August! Try her first class for FREE! Flow and tone is best for intermediate to experienced yogis and you can expect to flow through postures with light weights to warm the body and get the heart rate up while strengthening, toning, and challenging balance. This is a Christ-centered class and may include reading from the bible, prayer, and worship music throughout the practice.
Hannah is joining our teaching team to take over the Gentle to restore class Fridays at 4:00pm, starting this week! Try her first class for FREE! Gentle to restore is for beginner to experienced levels and you can expect gentle movement and breathing while slowly stretching, strengthening a little, and practicing balance mindfully. End with comfortable restorative postures held for 5-10 minutes using props to calm the mind, restore the body, and release tension. Options will be given and modifications encouraged.
Debbie is adding a new class Saturdays at 11:00am... Restore to Nidra, starting this week! Try her first class for FREE! Restore to Nidra is for beginner to experienced levels and you can expect to rest and breathe in comfortable postures for 5-15 minutes using blankets, blocks, and bolsters for to calm the mind, restore the body, and release tension. End with a 30-45 minute guided meditation in a restful posture using props to support the body. Yoga Nidra is good for healing, stress relief, and giving the mind and body rest. This is a Christ-centered class and may include reading from the bible, prayer, and worship music throughout the practice.
Chantal is adding a new class for expecting mommas Tuesdays at 7:00pm... Prenatal yoga, starting Tuesday, August 13! Try her first class for FREE! Prenatal yoga is for expecting moms that are at least 12 weeks along in their pregnancy or that have had a regular yoga practice. Practice caring for the body, connecting to baby, and empowering the body and mind for labor and delivery. Support partners/spouses welcome!
